Organizational Change Management Consultant

Panorama is a growing niche-consulting firm specializing in the enterprise resource planning (ERP) market for mid-size to large organizations across the world. Panorama has a long history of developing and implementing technology solutions, which have led to extensive experience with ERP solutions integration and experience with most leading technology vendors.

We have an immediate need for an Organizational Change Manager candidate, who will be responsible for leading and implementing end-to-end Organizational Change Management (OCM) initiatives related to business processes and technologies for a wide range of large, complex organizations.  More specifically, you will be involved in developing lead focus groups, assessments, communication plans, change impact analysis, coaching, change networks, readiness assessments, end user training strategies, adoption curve tracking, and benefits realization.

As the Organizational Change Management Consulting expert, you will introduce and drive change activities to help our client transform their customer’s business and to recognize the greatest value from ERP-driven initiatives. We are looking for a change leader to drive the entire OCM lifecycle from readiness assessment, stakeholder analysis, impact, executive sponsorship, and risk assessment all the way to post migration activities.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Document all client engagements including the creation of design documents, technical specifications, process documentation, specification, system deployment documents, ERP system integration and interface documents and publishing reports as necessary
  • Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve defined project output
  • Create and implement change management strategies and plans to maximize user adoption and proficiency, as well as to minimize overall risk so that business results are achieve Create and implement change management strategies and plans to maximize user adoption and proficiency, as well as to minimize overall risk so that business results are achieved.
  • Ability to manage both the “business transformation” and technical aspects of our Clients’ consulting engagements
  • Lead and facilitate project discovery to define change management requirements and assess business impact and identify areas of potential resistance.
  • Create actionable deliverables for core components of the change management strategy including communications plan, training plan, impact assessment / resistance management plan, governance models.
  • Design and conduct readiness assessments, evaluate results, and present findings in a logical and easy-to-understand manner to stakeholders across all levels – executive to frontline workers.
  • Drive stakeholder engagement, organizational assessment, impact analysis, learning/training, communications/marketing, business readiness, deployment, and adoption measurement throughout technology consulting projects.
  • Build knowledge and credibility quickly (projects vary in length, lasting anywhere from a few weeks to more than a year).
  • Support change portfolio management through collection of change impact and saturation data; and drives conversations with leaders to help them make informed decisions on intake and management.
  • Serve in an advisory capacity for projects and other consulting teams that may not have an OCM resource.
  • Support with building enterprise capability through delivering on goals and objectives.
  • Builds relationships, effective teams, and networks that extend throughout the company.
  • Help onboard, train and mentor new hires and less experienced change practitioners.
  • Lead medium and large-scale change programs focused on process, people, and/or technology transformation.
  • Coach and guide executive sponsor communication of the change management strategy and design.
  • Ability to collaborate and perform efficiently as a team member, as well as independently with minimal oversight.
  • Driving quality, testing and delivery methodology processes to ensure successful transition and client satisfaction

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of successful change management initiatives in business through strategic consulting and leading.
  • 3+ years in a similar OCM role.
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies
  • Be a self-starter who takes initiative to solve problems and meet outcomes.
  • Hands on consultant with a positive attitude, able to lead by example and partnering to deliver value.
  • Knowledgeable in change management, agile and program management best practices.
  • Change management certification (Prosi ADKAR desirable).
  • Experience in some marketing level communications is a plus.

Requirements

  • More than four (4) years of relevant experience in an established consulting firm environment. A blend of consulting and industry is also acceptable. This experience must include leading change management activities, executing communications strategies, and leading workstreams
  • More than four (4) years providing change management in support of technology-driven transformation programs
  • Keep current on trends within emerging technology, best practices, and policies, using a base of experience to advise clients on how change management strategies work to keep in line with the rapidly changing technology landscape
  • Willingness to do some travel 

Skills and Abilities

  • 3+ years proven experience as a Manager and/or PMP Certification is REQUIRED
  • 2+ years of experience with ERP or software applications PREFERRED – Preferably with Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor or Epicor
  • 1+ year of ERP implementation experience is PREFERRED
  • 2 years+ relevant working experience including expertise as a proven ERP consultant is PREFERRED
  • Highly articulate and polished with strong presentation skills
  • Strong familiarity of one or more of the following industries: manufacturing, distribution, supply chain, financial/professional services or energy/utilities. 

Minimum Education/Certification 

  • Educational Experience: B.A./B.S. in related field is required; MBA preferred
  • PMP certification or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years with a top tier consulting firm preferred; Big 4 or large consultancy experience is a Bonus (Deloitte, Accenture, KPMG, PcW, IBM, etc.)
  • Six Sigma or other related certification – Highly preferred Salary is commensurate with experience.
